The Wedding Gown Hunt “I Do”
“A wedding is the ceremony in which two people are united in marriage or a similar institution. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. Most wedding ceremonies involve an exchange of wedding vows by the couple, presentation of a gift (offering, ring(s), symbolic item, flowers, money), and a public proclamation of marriage by an authority figure or leader.”
The one thing that is common between all cultures is the “Wedding Gown Hunt”.
A wedding gown is essential to some brides and not just any wedding dress will do. Every bride really wants to differ in every way. When walking down the aisle, all eyes should be you, the bride. Your wedding gown ought to be beautiful and eye catching enough to capture the interest from the entire crowd. That’s the reason the stage of selecting the marriage dress for every bride is extremely essential.
Remember to choose a wedding dress that will match the wedding theme and most importantly it goes together with your taste and fashion.

Congrats to Lisa & Johnson -Wedding Date: June 25, 2011
Read their Story:
Johnson & I met through a mutual friend during my senior year in High School. We both were attracted to each other at the time but didn't move forward with anything at first. We hung out as friends a few times and finally went on a date and officially became a couple on May 27, 2001. We went through so much from being in a long distant relationship to the usual couples fights but through it all we made it out stronger then we were before. On March 4, 2009 Johnson took me out for a birthday dinner. I was being grumpy that day and just wanted to eat at some hole in the wall joint. But he insisted on taking me to Yamashiro's in Hollywood. So we went and ate there, of course I was complaining the entire time. When we were done with our dinner, he insisted on getting dessert and I just wanted to go home at that point but I said sure. He was telling me something about how he went to visit my parents and he told me that he had asked them something. He started to speak in Vietnamese which is not is native language so I did not understand a single word he was saying. (He had asked my parents in Vietnamese if he can have my hand in marriage...which took him weeks to learn). When the dessert came out he got down on one knee and proposed, of course I said yes. I should have known something was going to happen that day. I kept getting cryptic birthday messages like happy birthday lucky one etc.; I was thinking how I am lucky for turning 26.
We will be going to City Hall on our 10 year anniversary to get married (less than a month away) followed by a wedding reception a few days later.
